In 2012-2013, one of the members of the family had breast cancer. It is not the first time we had someone in the family have cancer. It was not just cancer but generally supposed to non-serious ailments like diabetes, heart trouble, Thyroid issues, etc. One pattern we noticed is that the treatment given was never going to cure, but control. The way we saw it was that you have specific diets and medicines available, and you go through the ritual. Ultimately these general ailments or cancer are never curable. The best treatments could do prolong the shelf life of the patient.
The best of the diseases out there are caused we realized is due to our lifestyle. Cancer, heart diseases, diabetes, obesity, thyroid issues, etc., are caused by incorrect lifestyle and food habits. Yogic Science and Ayurveda defines three types of qualities of energy

Rajasic (Stress, anger, restlessness, and activity) diet lifts energy but eventually increases or decreases the stress: Examples of food is hot, spicy food with onion and garlic, soft drinks, tea, and chocolates.
Tamasic (Laziness, lethargy, restlessness) diet includes processed food and meat, driving laziness and lethargy.
Sattvic (purity, harmony, balance, and wellbeing) diet is pure vegetarian food nourishment including fruits and vegetables, food originating from plants like grains, lentils, and pulses increases harmony, balance and well being

In 400 BC, Hippocrates mentioned, Let thy food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food to emphasize the importance of nutrition and medicinal values to cure and prevent diseases.

We founded Organic Sphere with the principle that the Sattvic food is good for health, sustainable for growers, and with social responsibility to deliver great products to consumers at affordable price.

Our farmers are more than farmers. They’re members of a collective (co-operative) who grow grains and crops with a mission to bring organic goodness to as many homes as possible. We also work closely with several experts in the food processing ecosystem. Together, we transform raw grains and crops into healthy, delicious products like millet rice, traditional rice, flour, dals & lentils. We work with several players through the food processing ecosystem to process and transform the raw grains/crops to tangible products like Millet Rice, Rice, Wheat, Wheat flour etc. We package and distribute fresh from the farm.

At Organic Sphere, we care about our community. That’s why we work with various nonprofit initiatives including Dr. Khadervali’s Kadu Krushi/JungleFarming program, which is organized and managed by Kushal & Lakshmi Narayan Reddy. We also source our products from neighboring farmer co-operative societies.
